What services does Apple Music Sing provide?

  • Users now have control over the vocal levels in a song. On millions of songs in the Apple Music catalog, they can sing along with the original artist’s vocals, take the lead, or mix it up.
  • Users can sing along to their favorite songs using animated phrases that dance to the beat of the vocals.
  • Vocal lines sung concurrently can animate independently of the main vocals to help people follow along.
  • Multiple vocalists appear on opposing sides of the screen in duet mode, making duets or multi-singer recordings easy to sing along to.

Which songs are supported by Apple Music Sing?

  • Apple has not specified which songs are compatible with Apple Music Sing, although the service will initially support “tens of millions of songs.”
  • You may view some of the supported items by selecting the Sing category after hitting the Search tab in the bottom-right corner.
  • Otherwise, you must listen to a song and hit the lyrics button to determine if it is compatible with the karaoke feature on Apple Music.

Apple has also added new categories, such as “Songs for Pros,” which has hard songs to sing, as well as songs for people who are just starting out with karaoke.

The Apple Music app on the iPhone, iPad, and Apple TV can be used to access all of the playlists. Apple Music Sing is available on the iPhone 11 and later, the fifth-generation 12.9-inch iPad Pro and later, the third-generation 11-inch iPad Pro and later, the fourth-generation iPad Air and later, the sixth-generation iPad mini, the ninth-generation iPad and later, and the 2022 Apple TV 4K.
