As you know, in February 2023, Google launched its AI chatbot named Bard. The tech giant wanted to compete with Chat GPT but in the starting period, they were not able to give results as it was expected. In September 2023, Google’s Bard made it able to scan your Gmail, Docs, and Drive to help you find the information you’re looking for. But Google decided not to stop there. Now they have come up with new ideas as Bard can summarize the YouTube videos. These features will be able to prove very time-saving and easy-to-understand the content for users. More about the New Feature of Google Bard AI

Google Bard is defined as an AI-powered chatbot tool designed by Google to simulate human conversations using natural language processing and machine learning. Bard is built on a pathway language model. Bard is made on a deep neural network that analyzes and understands patterns in a large data set of text. For example, if anyone searches for a cooking recipe for any food on YouTube, due to this feature the whole recipe will be summarized in text form step-wise. Google Bard integration with YouTube was introduced in September but at that time it didn’t work too properly. In the starting period, it worked on some specific videos but later it worked with more different types of videos.

In the early days of this feature, Google’s official said in a blog post “Today we’re rolling out Bard’s most capable model yet. Bard now integrates with Google apps and services for more helpful responses. We’ve also improved the ‘Google it’ feature to double-check Bard’s answers and expanded features to more places.”

In simple terms, if we want to make three cups of tea then we search on YouTube how to make three cups of tea. We will see the whole video and try to figure out the steps and quantity of materials to pour down to make the perfect tea. This will waste time and perhaps one would not be able to understand properly. So Bard extensions will generate the summary of the recipe and exact quantity of materials such as how many spoons of sugar etc to pour down everything.

Let’s take a second example of finance-related videos. You search for finance-related videos on YouTube and there are many options shown. If you want to know about a specific video that contains information like charts, financial topics, etc it contains. So Google Bard will make points about the information contained in the videos and you even don’t need to see the video to confirm whether it has your desired information or not.

Future scope 

Since it is still very early days of the Google Bard, surely it seems that it will have brighter and larger future scopes. The company is working to make Bard available in more languages and to more people around the world by improving Bard’s capabilities. Google is continuing to train and improve Bard’s ability to generate text, translate languages, write different kinds of creative content, and answer questions in an informative way. But for now, Bard is still in the developing phase and hoping for the best of it yet to be delivered by Google.
